In 2017, roughly in the middle of my teaching career, I was frustrated.

I was being asked to teach reading skills such as inferencing, yet I was spending hours and hours trying to find suitable resources.

(Most books just spelled out what characters were thinking or feeling.)

So I started writing my own texts to fill the gap.

Most books you’ll find on the market are either specifically teaching resources (good for teaching, but boring) or entertainment products (a good read, but not connecting with the curriculum).

These books are both.
